The Association of Societies for Growing Australian Plants (ASGAP) caters for people interested in Australia's native flora. ASGAP is made up of seven independent, non-profit, Regional Societies - one in each state and the ACT.

ANZSEE is the Australasian chapter of the International Society for Ecological Economics. The Australian Coral Reef Society (ACRS) plays a key role by promoting scientific research on Australian coral reefs. It is a forum for discussion and information transfer among scientists, management agencies and reef-based industries that are committed to ecological sustainability.

The objective of the AES is the advancement and dissemination of entomological knowledge in all its aspects, particularly but not exclusively, in relation to the Australian fauna.

The Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology (AIAST) is Australia's leading membership body for professionals working in agriculture and natural resource management (NRM). AIAST is committed to advancing the profession and the application of science and technology for the sustainable development of agriculture and NRM in Australia. The AIAST has launched AgCredited™, a new national accreditation scheme for professionals involved in agriculture and natural resource management.
